Description
A Freemason's sword, imbued with symbolism of the Masonic traditions.
The custom crafted guards, hilt and pommel are cast metal, and feature elaborate inlays in gold and silver plating depicting symbols of the masonic tradition.
The disk shaped pommel frames a five pointed star intertwined with a capital "G" of the Great Architect.
This Masonic Sword compiles with many of the symbols used, the compass and square set, the plumb line and the hammer, the sacred book and the eye of the Supreme Being.
Swords have been used throughout history and have become imbued with great symbolism. For this reason, freemasons use swords in all their ceremonies.
